Abraham Schwab started the business on Beale St. 133 years ago. We are currrently in our third location. We opened in this location in 1911. A lot of changes happened in 2011. The family made the decision to sell the business. Another local family acquired the store that has a connection to Memphis. The Saunders family are the descendants of Piggly Wiggly fame founder Clarence Saunders. They have improved the store so much. One of the biggest additions made was the soda fountain. We carry the largest selection of hats on Beale St. A varied assortment of candy and other food goodies to choose from. Large selection of unique t-shirts. We carry ukuleles, guitars, harmonicas, lots of music related items related to Memphis connected musicians. Vintage era toys. Eclectic assortment of the odd and bizarre gifts for every taste.1876
